Welcome to The Collective Spark's First Blog

Welcome to the very first blog from The Collective Spark.

The Collective Spark is a gathering ground to showcase, share, and connect all of the beautiful souls who come together to help our collective grow, thrive, transform, heal, create, and awaken the fire within. This is a space for us to share our light, shine our truth, and spark the collective.

Through these blogs, we will be introducing our members, sharing their journeys, skills, and the paths that have brought them here. This way, you can get to know us more deeply — not just what we offer, but who we are, and the lived experiences that shape what we bring forward.

Our intention is to create connection, visibility, and inspiration, so you can explore the different offerings within our community and feel what resonates with you.

Share your light. Shine your truth. Spark the collective.

We’re glad you’re here.

Becoming Who I Am: A Journey Through Loss, Growth, and Reconnection

Hi, I’m Jody Gale.

I’ve been on a healing journey for at least the last 10 years — although if I’m honest, it feels like it’s been my whole life in some way. It just became more conscious after the loss of my mother, which is the moment I can clearly point to as the beginning of everything shifting.

Her passing brought a kind of grief I had never known before. It didn’t just bring sadness — it shook the foundations of my life. It changed how I saw everything. How I lived. How I moved through the world. How I moved through myself.

The changes didn’t come quickly.

They unfolded slowly, over time, through experiences, relationships, endings, and beginnings that I didn’t always understand in the moment. One relationship in particular changed me in profound ways and became part of the redirection I didn’t yet know I needed.

There were seasons where life felt heavy, chaotic, and uncertain. Times where things ended in ways that felt painful but necessary. Looking back now, I can see that those endings were not failures — they were redirections. They were clearing the path.

When I think back to the version of me from all those years ago, I sometimes wonder if she would recognize who I’ve become.

And then I pause…

Because I think she would.

I think she would see the threads that stayed the same — the sensitivity, the depth, the love for people, the connection to nature — and I think she would understand the journey it took to get here. I believe she would be proud.

And I know I am.

Because I am no longer afraid of becoming.

I am still evolving. Still growing. Still exploring what comes next. And I no longer expect that to stop.

Where I Am Now

Today, I am a co-creator of The Collective Spark Facebook page and group — a collaborative space where people can share their skills, their offerings, and their creative expression. We gather monthly, holding space for connection, conversation, and community.

I have completed Level 2 Reiki training and am currently studying to become a yoga instructor. These paths feel like natural extensions of everything I’ve been moving toward — a deeper connection to energy, the body, and healing.

I also create short videos during my dog walks, sharing reflections, messages, and thoughts that come through when I am in nature. These moments feel simple, but they often hold something meaningful — reminders, insights, or just quiet presence.

I have worked as a Personal Support Worker for over 21 years. This work has shaped me deeply. It has taught me presence, compassion, patience, and the importance of dignity in everyday life. It is work that stays with you in the best way.

I am also a mother, and a dog mom — roles that have grounded me, softened me, and constantly reminded me of love in its most natural forms.

Nature as a Way Back to Myself

Nature is where I return to myself.

Gardening, walking, moving my body, or simply being outside — it all brings me back into balance. You’ll often find me in the forest, wandering with my dog, sometimes alone, sometimes encouraging friends to come along and reconnect too.

I believe in gathering. In sharing space. In trying new things like yoga classes, forest walks, or community events that bring people together in simple, human ways.

There is something powerful about that — about remembering we don’t have to do life alone.

What I Am Here For

I see myself as someone who plants seeds.

A quiet encourager.A connector of people.A light on a path — not to lead, but to gently remind others of their own direction.

I work with energy in a grounded, natural way. I feel deeply connected to the Earth and its ability to help us release what we are ready to let go of. I support the movement of stuck energy — not by forcing change, but by creating space for it.

For me, healing isn’t something separate from life.

It is life.

It is walking, breathing, grieving, growing, remembering, and becoming.

If You’re Here

If anything I’ve shared resonates with you, I would love to connect.

Whether it’s walking in nature, exploring energy work, joining a gathering, or simply having a conversation, you are welcome here.

Just send me a message.

I’d love to meet you.

You can contact me through my Facebook page, which is where I share my thoughts.
