The Moon has always been a quiet guide—shaping tides, influencing rhythms, and inviting us to pause and reflect. After completing my Moonology Certification, I felt called to begin sharing insights into the themes and energies of each New and Full Moon as they move through the zodiac.
Each lunar phase presents a unique opportunity for intention, release, and growth. Through this space, I’ll unpack how the Moon’s journey through the signs can support both personal and collective transformation. In the near future, I’ll also be sharing more about what Moonology is and why this ancient yet ever-relevant practice has become such a meaningful part of my life.

New Moon in Capricorn: Building Something That Lasts
Capricorn energy is all about emotional maturity, ambition, responsibility, and long-term success. It reminds us that the most meaningful achievements don’t happen overnight—they’re built slowly, through consistency, patience, and self-awareness.
When the Moon is in Capricorn, our emotions naturally shift toward practicality and stability. This New Moon offers a powerful opportunity to pause, reset your priorities, and take an honest look at your long-term goals. It’s a moment to choose lasting security over fleeting gains and temporary comfort.
Capricorn doesn’t rush. This is steady, grounded energy that encourages thoughtful planning, healthy boundaries, and personal accountability. Progress may feel slow at times, but this Moon reminds us that slow doesn’t mean stuck—it means sustainable.
Symbolized by the mountain goat, Capricorn teaches us that success comes one careful step at a time. The goat doesn’t leap straight to the mountaintop. It moves with intention, finds solid footing, and adapts when obstacles appear. Every small step counts, and over time, those steps add up to real progress.
If you’d like to work intentionally with this New Moon, try reflecting on these simple prompts. You don’t need all the answers at once—just start where you are.
What long-term goal am I ready to commit to over the next six to twelve months?
What small daily or weekly habits can support this goal?
Where in my life could I benefit from more structure or clearer boundaries? How can I implement them?
I like to use the moon as a prompt to be creative. You can choose to create a piece of art (painting, writing, dance, etc.) inspired by one of the questions above. Perhaps the work could represent the goal you wish to reach or create something in response to the quotes below.
“Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.” — Carl Bard
“To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream; not only plan, but also believe.” — Anatole France
This New Moon isn’t about pushing harder—it’s about choosing wisely, committing patiently, and trusting that small, consistent efforts will lead you exactly where you’re meant to go.

I’m so excited to announce that in the coming months, I’ll be launching
